Unearthed after 30 years:
The Folsom, Louisiana Collection
Every comic in our inventory comes from a single, meticulously preserved collection that spent three decades in storage in Folsom, Louisiana. This isn’t a hodgepodge of random acquisitions—it’s a curated treasure trove spanning Golden Age rarities to Modern Age keys, all sourced from one passionate collector.
What does this mean for you? Consistency in preservation, authenticity you can trust, and finds you won’t see anywhere else. We’re still cataloging new arrivals weekly, which means the comic you’ve been hunting might have just surfaced.

Understanding Our Condition Assessments
Honest Estimates, Clear Expectations
Every comic in our inventory includes a condition assessment using industry-standard terminology (VG, FN, VF, NM). These are our estimates—not professional CGC grades—based on cover quality, color, spine condition, and visible wear. We evaluate what we can see and describe it honestly, and it should be considered a guide only.
Our assessment philosophy: We’d rather under-promise and over-deliver. If a comic is borderline between conditions, we list it at the lower assessment.
Important: Our condition assessments should not be confused with professional CGC grading. CGC grading involves a comprehensive evaluation beyond what we perform, including page quality, structural integrity, and other factors we don’t assess in our listings.
Want professional certification? As a CGC Registered Dealer, we can arrange professional grading and encapsulation for any comic in our inventory. This third-party authentication provides the highest level of certainty for high-value keys and first issues.
